Out On Bay Street Pre-Conference Bootcamp 2019

START PROUD and OUT ON BAY STREET have put together a special Pre-Conference Bootcamp for LGBTQ+ students and professionals, taking place at Denton’s office in Downtown Toronto. At the skill-building workshop, you’ll learn how to tell about your story and impress your interviewers. After the workshops, you will have a chance to meet and chat with corporate partners and fellow students over drinks and hors d’oeuvres during our open floor networking event.
The event is free for early bird ticket holders of the Out On Bay Street conference. If you do not have a ticket, you will be asked to purchase one at the Bootcamp event. The ticket cost is $20, and is deductible from the price of our conference in September, including workshops, career fair, galas, competitions, personal resumé coaching, and more!

Topic: Want to ditch your “Clark Kent” and be the SuperYOU?
We all know the fictional character Clark Kent as mild mannered reporter for the Daily Planet, going to work in business attire, carrying a briefcase and cellphone, living in a downtown apartment fitting the mold of a stereotypical employee. Come to this session and learn about how to bring that superhuman YOU OUT and focus on your individual uniqueness, your true identity and your passions and interests that will land you that dream job or opportunity.
